These will run on specific days through the month of June, starting on the 8th and will be available either mornings, afternoons or evenings to accommodate those with other responsibilities or work commitments.
This week we will send out joining instructions to Club Welfare Officers who have been identified as requiring this training. They will not be able to book on a course until they have received these details. The webinars will be slightly different depending on whether the Club Welfare Officers are new to the role or whether they are continuing in the role and require a refresher. We will include details of these options in our messages to them.
It is important for Club Welfare Officers to have completed the SYC (Safeguarding Young Cricketers) course prior to booking on a webinar. We will provide them with access to this learning. If they have already completed the course then there is no requirement for them to repeat it.
As mentioned previously, this alternative accreditation will be valid for 12 months by which time we hope that the standard face-to-face Safe Hands training will be available again.
